Find out more at www.s-trip.com. Have you ever had that one dream spot that you always want to go to? The one that pops into your mind whenever anybody talks about travel? I know I sure do! Have you ever had that one dream spot that you always want to go to? The one that pops into your mind whenever anybody talks about travel? I know I sure do! I remember there were times when I would think of living in London and I honestly started crying I wanted it so badly. My friends would make fun of me because they would mention London and I would just start crying. Usually, I’m a toughie and don’t cry in front of people so it was really weird to be honest! Now why would I pick London when I can go get a tan in Hawaii or have a thrill ride at Disneyland?  As a matter of fact I have been to London twice and every time I go there I just fall more and more in love. Have you ever been to a place that just feels right? It feels like home? That is London for me! Now why, why, why if I’ve already been there would I choose to go again? Well, the reasons are countless:

-I la, la, love the weather in London. You must be thinking “is she crazy? Last I checked, it doesn’t have tanning weather?” Well right you are! It rains a good portion of the time and when it’s not raining it is cold with some sun! I just find the rain so cozy and comfy. I’m from the Fraser Valley and it rains a ton here too so I know for a fact I love it.

I am crazy about big cities! Yes it is true I live in a “cow-town” and live up in a mountain. Yes it is true that I love the outdoors and hiking and big spaces. But yes, it is also true that I am crazy about big cities. I live about two hours away from Vancouver and any chance I get I go to just enjoy the city. I’ll just walk the streets and enjoy all the people and sites!

-London is one of the biggest places for theatre! I love theatre. It is basically my life. I work, perform, write, watch, and breathe theatre. Especially musical theatre. If I went to London I could see so many musicals, and if I lived there I could audition as well!

I love tea! I drink anywhere from 10-20 cups of tea a day. I love it. It is all that I drink… even in the summer time! I love trying different types and whenever I hang out with people I always end up making them tea.

I’m insanely obsessed with accents… especially British ones! It’s no surprise that everybody loves accents. For me, British accents are my weakness. I’ve always wanted to be surrounded by it because then it would help my accent as well for acting!

-It’s one of the most diverse cities on the planet!  Black African at 12.4%, Indian at 4.4%, Chinese 2.2% and so many more races gives London this privilege. For me, I want to live in a diverse city because I want to learn so many different cultures and meet people with different experiences and religions and such! For example, over 300 languages are spoken there!

-All the people are super friendly and have good hearts!

-London is the heart of the UK Music scene! I love music and so hearing new music and seeing different people who are passionate about music really brightens my day.

-London has more green space than any other major city in the world! Although I love the city, I also love my beautiful views of green beauty! However, I would not miss that by being in London because it is full of wonderful parks everywhere!

These are only a few of the main reasons why I want to go to London! So let’s say I get to London to enjoy all these points? What would I do? Who would I take with me? I have a ton of really good friends so this would be a hard choice. However, I know who would enjoy London just as much as me and that would include Katherine Branswell, Krista Skwarok, Noelle Young, Alycia Duncan, and Coral Beecham because we share common interests and love the same things. They love theatre and the arts! And I would actually be able to handle being with these girls for a long time! Some of the things I would make sure we did while on our trip includes seeing some musicals. I would prefer The Book of Mormon, Les Miserables, Lion King, Rent, or Spring Awakening! Maybe even a ballet for Noelle because she is a crazy intense dancer and the rest of us also enjoy watching dance and dancing! I would rent a cute little apartment or cottage so that we could really experience the London life instead of staying in the same hotel I could get an hour drive away from my house. We would do tons of walks around the city, especially at night when all the lights are on and everybody is done working! Just walking around, enjoying the street vendors, and people playing music would be so fantastic! We would walk or take the metro everywhere! But we can’t forget about the two level buses. No one can go to London and not ride on one of those! Although I’m vegan, Noelle is vegetarian, and Krista can’t eat gluten, we would still have to hit up a food market! You can not go to London and not go to a food market. Or any of their markets as a matter of fact! No shopping in H & M or eating at McDonald’s! Of course we would have to see the cliche sites because they are so famous and so beautiful! So part of our trip would include a visit to Big Ben, and the London Eye! I’m just picturing being on the London Eye with my best friends and what an amazing experience that would be! What London trip would be complete without a trip to St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminister Abbey! There are so many stories and so much peace to be found at both places! Bright and early in the morning we would head over to the Buckingham Palace to see the guards change. Obviously though, Prince Harry would have found me by then and we would have fallen in love. Therefore, my friends and I would be able to watch the guards from the inside while having breakfast with the Queen, Kate, Prince Harry and Prince William. This trip would be so amazing, especially if I went with my best friends! These are the girls who have been behind me on everything I have done. They’re there for my hard times and my good times. We know each other’s secrets and can tell when something is off with each other. This trip would be amazing alone, but with my best girl friends I could not even describe the amount of fun I would have! And the fact that we are all interested in the arts would keep us from fighting about what to do. It wouldn’t be two girls wanting to go to a sports game and three wanting to go to a show. Not to mention, all the girls mentioned are pretty laid back and don’t cause drama. Drama would be the worst on a trip and can always wreck a vacation but there wouldn’t be any with these girls.

Now wouldn’t it be cool if this dream vacation could become a reality? Well it can thanks to S-Trip! They have decided to sponsor the Social Media Queen prize: a trip anywhere in the world!
